Kevin Mills

Kevin Patrick Mills, age 59, of Bloomington, passed away on Monday, December 10, 2018, at his residence. He was born in Kearney, NE on March 16, 1959, the son of Donald & Grace Mills.

Kevin was a 1977 graduate of Lexington St. Ann's High School. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army where he served as a Military Policeman in Berlin from 1979 to 1980. He graduated from the University of Nebraska in the mid 1980s and became a special agent for the Foreign Service of the United States State Department. After leaving the State Department he moved to Acworth, GA where he owned a train hobby store. He moved to Bloomington around 2011 and began working for Speedway until his passing. He attended Mass at the Sacred Heart Chapel at the Mother of our Redeemer Retreat Center.

He is survived by his mother, Grace Mills of Lincoln, NE; brothers, Kent (Peggy) Mills of Lincoln, NE, Klyte (Yvonne) Mills of Ft. Huachuca, AZ and Father Elias Mills of La Crosse, WI; nephew, Klyte D. Mills and niece, Alexis Mills.

Kevin is preceded in death by his father.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 am at the Sacred Heart Chapel at the Mother of our Redeemer Retreat Center, on Wednesday, December 19, 2018. Burial will follow at Mary's Children Cemetery in Bloomington.
Visitation will be held at the retreat center on Wednesday from 9:00 am until the time of Mass.

Memorial contributions may be made to his mother Grace in care of the funeral home.

Arrangements have been entrusted to West & Parrish & Pedigo Funeral Home in Spencer.

Randy Zeleski

Randy Lee Zeleski, 66, of Lexington, passed away on Thursday, May 15, 2025, at Ridgeway Senior Living in Lexington.
He was born on December 31, 1958, in Lexington, Nebraska to Zigmund and Rosemary (Waltman) Zeleski. He attended public school in Lexington and graduated from St. Anns High School with the class of 1977. At a young age, Randy began working for Shotkoski Hay Company before moving to Loup City where he met Jane Janulewicz. The two were united in marriage on March 21, 1981. Two daughters were blessed to this union: Heather and Megan. The couple would later move to Arcadia for five years until 1986, when they made their home in Lexington. This marriage would later end in divorce.
Once Randy was back in Lexington, he began working for Cal Stock for a number of years, briefly for Bruce Stuart, before then working for Hillside Farms until his retirement in 2024, running the haying division. Randy was an incredibly hard worker and very organized both in his shop and paperwork. He had a great love for horses and all animals, playing pitch, and those who knew Randy, knew he loved a good joke. Randy was proud of his collection of John Deere toy tractors and Tonka trucks, and equipment. Randy took a great interest in the Easter Egg Hunt this year at Ridgeway, and was a generous monthly donor to the St. Jude's Children’s Cancer Research Foundation.
Those left to cherish his memory are his mother, Rosemary Zeleski of Salt Lake City, Utah; daughters, Heather (JP Plum) Zeleski of Littleton, Colorado, and Megan (Ted) Unterseher of Grandview, Texas; grandchildren, Jayden Zeleski Unterseher, Rea Unterseher, Paisyn Unterseher, and Gianna Plum; siblings, Jeanne Longworth of Salt Lake City; Rick (Vicki) Zeleski of Overton, and Sheryl Fellers of Cozad, and as well as extended family and friends.
Randy was preceded in death by his father, Zigmund Zeleski and grandson, Ryker Robert Zeleski Unterseher.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date.

Paul Streit

Paul J. Streit, 65, of Lexington, Nebraska passed away on Monday, June 3, 2024 at Meadowlark Pointe in Cozad, Nebraska.
Paul was born on February 19, 1959, in Lexington, Nebraska to Melvin J. and Marilyn (Prasch) Streit. He grew up on the farm north of Lexington and attended school in Lexington. Paul was a 1977 graduate of St. Ann’s High School.
The farm was his life. Paul was a quiet and simple man but loved working on the farm.
He enjoyed watching basketball and going with his buddies to the University of Nebraska-Kearney games. 
Paul was a faithful member of St. Ann’s Catholic Church where he ushered for many years.
Survivors include his brothers, David (Scott Button) Streit of Rehoboth, Delaware, John (James Wilkin) Streit of Longmont, Colorado and Steve (Karallyn) Streit of Ashville, North Carolina; nephews, Cody (Savannah) Streit of Papillion and Levi (Megan) Streit of Kearney; niece, Chelsea Streit of Cairo; as well as extended family and friends.
Paul was preceded in death by his parents.
Mass of Christian Burial will be on Friday, June 7, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Lexington with Father Jose Chavez, celebrating.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 7, 2024 from 10-11 a.m. at St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Lexington.
Burial will be in St. Ann’s Catholic Cemetery at Lexington.
Memorials are kindly suggested to Meadowlark Pointe in Cozad.
