Carl Engler III, age 63, of Silver Creek, passed away, Monday, September 23, 2024 at the Good Samaritan Society in Osceola. Graveside services will be 3:00 p.m., Friday, September 27, 2024 at the Evergreen Cemetery East of Lexington with Pastor Andy Springer officiating. In honor of Carl, the family requests Husker attire to be worn. There will be no visitation. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the family for future designation.

Carl was born on November 27, 1960 in Omaha, Nebraska to Carl Engler II and Judy Case. Carl grew up in Lexington, Nebraska. He was united in marriage to Debrah Hanneman and in this union three sons were born. He was a faithful employee to Tenneco Automotive in Cozad, Nebraska for over 30 years. Carl loved the outdoors including fishing, camping, and taking long rides on his motorcycle. He was and forever will be a Huskers fan.
Carl was preceded in death by his parents, siblings and many loved ones.
He leaves behind many surviving loved ones including siblings Frank (Susan) Strong, Kathy Barker, Deb (Dave) Hixson, Kelly (Steve) Smith, and Kevin Engler. Other loved ones include his wife Deb Engler and children Carl (Sarah) Engler their children Carl and Jayden, Chris (Amanda) Engler their children Nora and Weston, and Scott (Amanda) Engler and their child Dante.
